Piven Theatre Workshop
For over 45 years, the Piven Theatre Workshop has maintained both a professional theatre and a nationally acclaimed theatre workshop for children and adults. The mission of Piven Theatre Workshop is to encourage a process of creative exploration that celebrates each individual’s unique voice through an ensemble-based, community-oriented approach to theatre training and performance.
Working Classroom
The Working Classroom New Media, Theater and Visual Arts Programs provide young artists, actors, and media makers with professional training, as well academic support and opportunities to engage in social justice through art.
The Creative Coalition
In 1989, a group of writers, actors, producers, directors, agents, designers and lawyers from the entertainment world and founded The Creative Coalition. We were not — and are not — a precisely like-minded political group, but rather people who longed to use our communication skills and political savvy in more effective ways.
Sunshine Kids
The Sunshine Kids Foundation was founded by Rhoda Tomasco in 1982 while she was serving as a volunteer in the pediatric cancer unit of a hospital in Houston, Texas. After seeing the loneliness and depression among children during their extended hospital treatments, Rhoda had a vision to provide these young cancer patients with opportunities to participate in positive group activities which promoted self-esteem, personal accomplishment and just plain old fashioned fun!
OneVoice Movement
The OneVoice Movement is a global initiative that supports grassroots activists in Israel, Palestine, and internationally who are working to build the human infrastructure needed to create the necessary conditions for a just and negotiated resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Off The Street Club
Founded in 1900, Off The Street Club is Chicago’s oldest boys and girls club. They currently serve more than 3,000 kids in one of the most dangerous neighborhoods in the country, West Garfield Park.

Amnesty International is a global movement of more than 7 million people who take injustice personally. We are campaigning for a world where human rights are enjoyed by all.
